Goldman & Forbes Ltd is one of the City of London's most respected financial services firms. We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Corporate Finance division. This is a high-impact role for a commercially driven professional with deep analytical capabilities and a passion for delivering exceptional insight.

You will work closely with senior leadership, providing financial modelling, forecasting, and strategic analysis that directly shapes board-level decision-making. 🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of detailed financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses for M&A activity and major capital investments
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packs for C-suite and board presentation
• Drive variance analysis and provide clear, insightful commentary on business performance
• Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, operations, and strategy teams to support strategic planning
• Manage and mentor two junior analysts, supporting their professional development
• Develop and maintain budgeting and planning processes, reducing cycle time by 25%
• Support the CFO and FD on investor relations materials and quarterly earnings presentations
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation using advanced Excel and Power BI

✅ Requirements & Experience

• ACA / CIMA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent international qualification)
• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in a senior financial analysis or FP&A role
• Advanced financial modelling skills — you can build a three-statement model from scratch
• Strong Excel skills; Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent BI tools experience highly desirable
• Experience working in financial services, investment banking, or a FTSE-listed company preferred
• Excellent stakeholder management — comfortable presenting at board level
• Track record of driving process improvements and delivering under tight deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex data into clear narrative
